Road Trip! Magazine: An Energetic and Fresh Perspective

ROAD TRIP! MAGAZINE is a relatively recent
addition to the ranks of magazines for outdoor and
recreational vehicle enthusiasts, founded by a
former Yosemite Park Ranger and her artisan
husband – fanatic tent campers turned avid RVers.
“My love affair with the open road really started
when I was a kid,” says publisher/editor Sequoia
Hamilton. “Every summer we’d travel Route 66 from
LA to Branson to visit family and friends. We would
just show up and then pop up.”(referring to her family’s
pull-behind pop-up trailer)
And so it seems ROAD TRIP! MAGAZINE has suddenly
shown up and popped up – almost out of nowhere.
An intelligent, lively and visually stunning
publication, ROAD TRIP! MAGAZINE’s heartbeat is
the “Fresh from the Road” series of articles written
by road travelers – including the founders who
conduct business out of their remodeled and ultra-
hip ’76 Revcon motorhome.
ROAD TRIP! MAGAZINE boasts an impressive line up
too. Contributors include a former editor of
Forbes, staff reporter for CNN, a travel writer for
National Geographic Adventure and a photographer whose images have received worldwide
acclaim for clients such as Disney and Saturn. “The magazine is an amazing mosaic of stories
